John M. Edmond has more than 20 years of senior-level professional experience in both the public and private sector assisting clients in political campaigns. He has a strong background in public affairs, regulatory issues, policy development, banking and land use approvals. John has represented corporations, trade associations, nonprofit organizations, and public agencies before federal, state, and local governments. Before starting his own firm, John was the Sr. Vice President at Mercury Public Affairs, a top global lobbying firm.

John’s focus includes candidates, political action committees, issue-based initiatives, and strategic community relations. He has a background in the financial services sector. He has worked for a Fortune 500 bank, where he managed ultra-high-net-worth individuals and companies’ assets. His experience includes investment banking, home finance and business development.

Susana Gonzalez Edmond is Principal and Co-Owner of the Edmond Group, LLC. She has over 25 years of senior-level professional experience in both the public and private sectors. Her diverse career includes many notable accomplishments. Prior to joining The Edmond Group, she served as Chief Officer of Government and External Affairs for the Museum of Latin American Art (MOLAA) where she led the engagement and advocacy efforts for the arts at all levels of government. In her professional trajectory, Susana served as chief of staff to Congressman Robert Garcia when he was on the City Council, she was Executive Director for the CA State Student Association at the Cal State University system office where she managed statewide advocacy campaigns. During her tenure at Mercury Public Affairs California, now ACTUM, LLC., Susana has led several projects for clients from a diverse number of industries including utilities, transportation, engineering, healthcare, and cannabis. Prior to ACTUM, she worked for Southern California Edison (SCE), a Fortune 500 utility company, where she managed state and local government associations and lead the company’s community engagement strategy for the Latino, Veterans and Senior Adult initiatives throughout the service territory.

Her volunteer work includes, serving as the Vice President of the Long Beach Civil Service Commission, President of the Long Beach Council PTA and she is a board member on the Mental Health America Los Angeles (MHALA).

Judith Herrera, a Long Beach native with over five years of management experience. She is an alumnus of Millikan High School, Long Beach City College, and California State University, Long Beach. Judith brings a rich educational background into her role. Her career is marked by her unwavering commitment to advancing the Latino community through advocacy and education. Prior to joining our team, Judith was a Manager at the Museum of Latin American Art, leading membership campaigns and managing the museum’s database.

At Edmond Group, Judith leverages her expertise to support the firm’s principals and clients in education, infrastructure, non-profit organizations, and healthcare.
